Radisson Blue Hotel Dhaka Bangladesh House Pen

I got this pen when I stayed at the hotel recently. A ballpoint pen made out of plastic, it has a push button at the top to engage the ballpoint cartridge to come out and come in at the tip of the pen. Painted blue, it has the Radisson logo near the clip.



A typical hotel pen style found in practically every hotel in the world.

House Pencil by Radisson Blu Hotel, Dhaka, Bangladesh

I got a pair of pencils when I stayed at the hotel recently. I believe it is HB standard and it comes with rubber eraser at the end. The shaft is painted black and the hotel logo is printed small and close to the end of the pencil.

BPAM 2017 Faber Castell Fountain Pen

Got this fountain pen from BPAM. Made by Faber Castell, only 100 examples were made. It has a hard plastic body with a spring tension clip on the cap. The pen can be inked by a disposable cartridge or a reservoir. 



The Company's brand is printed on the cap and a thumbprint-like graphic that has a rough texture is on the bottom half of the pen. A rather modern design.



The nib is stainless steel and protected by black paint by the method of PVD. The nib is classified as medium.



Comfortable to hold and a joy to write.

Got this pen from an event last night. It was MARC 20th Anniversary. This is a Parker roller ball pen.

It comes with the ink insert.

Attended a seminar organised by IMD in Langkawi. This was the pen that was given to the participants.

All plastic construction except for tip which is made out of metal.

The ink flows well and very comfortable to write with.

Allan D'Lious, Germany - Ballpoint Pen

This is the Allan D'Lious, Germany Ballpoint Pen I received when I gave a public lecture at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia a few years ago.

Nice electric blue colour on the pen.

A typical ballpoint pen with a clicker top-button to expose (and retract) the nib.

The University logo as well as its website are printed on the body.

Seiko Pilot Frixion Ballpoint Pen

I received this pen when I attended a function organised by Seiko in Kuala Lumpur recently. It is a ballpoint pen that has a unique feature of being able to be erased.

There is a detail instruction sheet that came with the pen. As the name suggests, it works due to friction. As you rub the ink with the special material that comes with the pen, it generates heat. At 60 degree Celsius, the ink will disintegrate and disappear. 

The pen looks normal apart from the many Japanese text on it (I suspect its the instructions).

This is the unique material that is able to generate the necessary heat (on rubbing) to erase the ink. I suspect it is just silicone.

By moving the clip down, the tip will be exposed at the bottom. It will lock in place.

Pressing it further will unlock it and internal springs will push the whole clip upwards including the tip.
